For this weeks Design & Discuss we take on the release of Microsoft’s latest internet browser: Internet Explorer 8

Yes we should:

Internet Explorer 8 is a significant upgrade and will affect the way we design for the web. It’s a step forward in design and accessibility. I’m going to be upgrading and checking all my sites work in it. Plus it’s one step further away from Internet Explorer 6.

No we shouldn’t:

Internet Explorer 8 isn’t that much of a significant upgrade from IE7. They should be concentrating on moving people away from Internet Explorer 6. Plus there is a whole bunch of better browsers out there other people could use. My site displays okay in Internet Explorer 7 I’m not going to bother checking in Internet Explorer 8.
